Lawrence and Irene are finally tying their knot traditionally after years of courtship this coming October! That is also when they will hold a wedding dinner for their families and friends to be there to give their warmest blessings for their marriage! So before that comes in our way, we have to get some photos taken for them as table top photos for the guests during the dinner. Of course, as a very close friend, I started helping. I started off with casual shoots for them in their new love nest in Punggol.
Since their new home has just been done up and the furniture are not in yet, I grabbed the opportunity to do some casual photography in the empty house where it is so much fun playing around. The wall feature at the TV console and the table top at the kitchen are some places where we had some frames with. What was meant to be an outdoor shoot turns out be an indoor in their new place. I have few images that I like and they are show below. Most of the images were taken with 50mm f1.2 L.
This picture below was cropped and also edited to enhanced the details of Irene’s face under the cast of their chandelier light. This is the most satisfied shot that I have gotten out of so many others that I liked a lot. Their facial expressions are just so relaxed and natural. Not stiffed or twitching. Note the bokeh from the chandelier on the top right of the frame.

The picture below was taken under the chandelier, I loved how the cast of warm lights on their face and their expressions while looking at it.

This picture below was taken with 16-35mm f2.8 L on 5D II. They just wanted to have some shots in their new washroom. I increased the contrast and also aligned the frame correctly against the tiles behind.
